Pounamu Chews is a small young enterprise business who created silicone based pounamu heart-shaped teethers for babies under 36months.

Pounamu are a taonga [treasure] for Māori often worn as a carved pendant, gifted on special occasions. They hold stories, history and memories of loved ones and significant moments for the wearer. As a pounamu is sacred and should be well cared for and preserved we have created a baby-safe alternative. The products iare also packaged in a lovely kete bag
